Using the Menu The File Menu   Manage Extensions Choosing Manage Extension opens the Extensions dialog where you can activate and deactivate extensions. See the Managing Extensions section of this manual for further information. Manage Control Panels Choosing Manage Extension opens the Extensions dialog where you can activate and deactivate extensions. See the Managing Extensions section of this manual for further information. Search Database Choosing the Search Database command opens the Search Database dialog, where you can search Extension Overload’s database of over 1400 extensions and control panels. See the Getting Information section of this manual for further information. Create Report Choosing Create Report creates a report of all the extensions and control panels in the active system folder, both activated and disabled. See the Getting Information section of this manual for further information. The Edit menu   Undo Choosing undo reverses the effect of your last action. Extension Overload does not support undo. Cut Choosing Cut transfers the selected text to the Clipboard and removes it from the window. Extension Overload does not support Cut. Copy Choosing Copy transfers the selected text to the Clipboard. Extension Overload does not support Copy. Paste Choosing Paste inserts the text from the Clipboard at the location of the blinking insertion mark. You cannot paste images or other non-textual informaiton into Extension Overload. Clear Choosing Clear deletes the selected text. Extension Overload does not support Clear. The Info menu   Shareware Information Choosing Shareware Information opens a window which contains information on buying Extension Overload. Copyright Choosing Copyright displays information about who created and owns Extension Overload and restrictions on distributing it. Version History Choosing Version History opens a window which lists all versions of Extension Overload which have been released and also gives details of the changes each version included. Legal Stuff Choosing Legal Stuff displays information about the warranty (or lack thereof) with which Extension Overload comes. Contacting the Authors Choosing Contacting the Authors displays information on how you can contact the authors to tell them about mistakes, bugs, suggestions etc. The address of the Extension Overload web page is also given. Frequently asked questions (FAQs) Choosing this command opens a window which contains the questions we hear most often from users and the answers to them. User Comments Choosing User Comments opens a window in which some of the praise we received over the years is quoted. Mac Keyboard Shortcuts Choosing Mac Keyboard Shortcuts opens a window which lists a lot of helpful keyboard shortcuts that you can use during troubleshooting. In contrast to normal shortcuts such as command-C for Copy, these shortcuts let you do things for which there are no menu commands or buttons.
